13/07/2010: HW Group - I/O Controllers ER84a ER88aThe range of HW Group I/O controllers expands with two new devices: ER84a and ER88a. Engineered in industrial DIN rail mounting case, these devices allow remote control of digital inputs and outputs and a serial port RS232/485 port through the Ethernet.
Using the HWG VSP software, you can create a virtual serial port (eg COM7) on your PC, physically connected to the serial port of the remote I/O controller. I/Os can be controlled by the software VSP using its "Binary I/O" section.
Two devices can also be connected each other (in mode box-to-box), transferring the state of inputs of the first on the outputs of the second and vice versa, as well as transferring data from serial ports to each other.
