14/07/2010: SlimLine DMX FB now available
The FB DMX (Digital MultipleX) management has been released and available on SlimLine RS485 CPUs. The function block allows you to control devices with this protocol through SlimLine CPU.
The function DMX is present on all CPUs from SlimLine firmware revision Sfw167b200 and it is enabled with "runtime" license.
Typically, the DMX protocol is used for lighting control scene to check, by computer or control units, complex lighting, with moving lights or headlights classics.

13/07/2010: HW Group - I/O Controllers ER84a ER88a
The range of HW Group I/O controllers expands with two new devices: ER84a and ER88a. Engineered in industrial DIN rail mounting case, these devices allow remote control of digital inputs and outputs and a serial port RS232/485 port through the Ethernet.
Using the HWG VSP software, you can create a virtual serial port (eg COM7) on your PC, physically connected to the serial port of the remote I/O controller. I/Os can be controlled by the software VSP using its "Binary I/O" section.
Two devices can also be connected each other (in mode box-to-box), transferring the state of inputs of the first on the outputs of the second and vice versa, as well as transferring data from serial ports to each other.

07/07/2010: New device ATC-277SM Fiber to serial Converter
The ATC-277SM is a Single Mode Optical Fiber Modem, that allow the connection of RS232/422/485 devices over a single-mode fiber cable.
The device allows connection over up to 20Km of fiber cable and supports point to point or ring (point to multipoint) networking.
The converter can also be used as "Repeater" to create a multi-drop master/slave configuration, allowing one serial device to talk to multiple slave devices around a fiber ring.

05/07/2010: HW Group - Damocles 1208
Damocles 1208 is a device with 12 remote inputs and 8 outputs over Ethernet with Web interface. It provides M2M communication for connection to SNMP and SCADA systems, pulse counters on digital inputs, E-mail and SNMP trap notifications of input state changes.
It also supports Box-2-Box mode that allows to control outputs over the LAN by another device.

21/06/2010: HW Group - IP Water Leak Detector
HWg-WLD is a network-enabled water leak detector with a water-absorbing sensing cable. HWg-WLD features a built-in web server, SNMP support, and e-mail alert in case of water flooding. It can remotely control a relay output over the network (a relay is switched when a water leak is detected along the sensing cable). HWg-WLD detects water leaks or water floods along the entire length of the sensing cable. The sensing cable detects even the smallest volume of water, ethylene glycol, or other conductive liquid.
