This
device allows to connect apparatus equipped with a RS232/422/485 interface,
using a multi-mode fiber optic cable. It is particularly indicated to solve
problems of data integrity transmission in noise environments. It may be also
used where ground loops may cause problems and/or where the atmospheric discharges
may destroy the devices.
The converter is provided of galvanic insulation up to 3000Vdc,
and of surge protection on the RS485 interface.
The device is provided of extractable terminal blocks for
the connection of RS232/422/485 I/F and power supply.
