This
device allows to connect apparatus equipped with a RS232/422/485 interface,
using a single mode fiber optic cable. It is particularly
suited were there is the need to transmit data over long distance (up
to 40Km).
The converter is provided of galvanic insulation up to 3000Vdc,
and of surge protection on the RS485 interface.
The device is provided of extractable terminal blocks for
the connection of RS232/422/485 I/F and power supply.
The power supply may be connected through a standard 12Vdc
adapter (jack 2.1mm) or a TB.
