This
device allows to extend RS422/485 networks over the conventional 1200mt and/or
increase the limit of 32 devices connected on the network in accordance with
the EIA RS485 specification.
The repeater is provided of galvanic
insulation up to 3500V between the two interfaces, and of 1000W surge protection both
sides.
The connection of the interface and the power supply is made
through extractable terminal blocks.
The ATC-109N supports 3 communication modes:
- RS422/ 4 wire full duplex
- RS485/ 2 wire half duplex
- RS422/ 4 wire to RS485/ 2 wire half duplex
The power supply may be connected through a standard 12Vdc
adapter (jack 2.1mm) or a TB.
