These
converters allow to connect RS232 devices with others RS422/485 type. They
may be also used to extend an RS232 connection breaking the conventional 15mt
limit according to EIA RS232 (with 2 modules) up to 1200mt or more, and to
isolate them galvanically.
The converters are provided of galvanic insulation up to
3000Vdc between the two interfaces, and of surge protection on the RS422/485
interface, They are therefore suitable on long connections and/or generally,
in all the cases where difference of potential between the devices connected
to the network are possible.
The devices are provided of I/F RS232 on a DB9F connector
(DCE) and of extractable terminal blocks for the connection of RS422/485 I/F
and power supply.
To connect with DTE devices (9 pin), it's available an apposite
modem cable to be ordered separately (Code CBL058*300).
