This
device allows to extend RS422/485 networks over the conventional 1200mt and/or
increase the limit of 32 devices connected on the network in accordance with
the EIA RS485 specification.
The repeater is provided of galvanic insulation up to 3000Vdc
between the two interfaces, and of surge protection.
The connection of the interface and the power supply is made
through extractable terminal blocks.
The power supply may be connected through a standard 12Vdc
adapter (jack 2.1mm) or a TB.
