The
ATC-850 module is a Low-cost way to convert
RS485 industrial buses to an USB interface. When
connected to a PC USB port the ATC-850 module is
automatically detected and it is installed as a native COM port
which is compatible with any existing serial communication
application.
The device is provided of a 384
Byte receive buffer with adjustable timeout and a 128
byte transmit buffer with auto-transmit control. The ATC-850
makes it easier to add RS232/422/485 devices to your system with
easy plug & play.
The module is provided of an USB-B interface
and of 1 DB9M (DTE) to connect RS232 interface and a 6-pin extractable TB
3.81mm pitch for RS422/485 connection.
The converter is also provided of a surge protection
on the RS232/422/485 and 3500Vrms galvanic insulation
between USB and RS232/422/485.
The power supply is supplied directly from USB, so no external
power source is needed.
