NETCOMP is
a low power embedded Computer, equipped with Intel XScale™ Technology
CPUs graded from 208MHz to 806MHz, preinstalled Windows CE™ and
compatible with Linux and QNX™ Operating
systems. All models are provided of a preinstalled Windows CE 5.0/6.0 under
Microsoft OEM Customer License Agreement (CLA) 702692 for embedded systems.
The device is engineered in a ABS self extinguishing enclosure,
suitable for DIN rail mount according to DIN EN50022 and can
be expanded with
the 10I/O and 20I/O extension
modules through its I2C™ bus, up to 7 extension modules can
be connected to it.
The module is provided of 2 RS232 serial ports, 1 10/100
BaseT Ethernet port, 2 USB 2.0, and VGA video.
For the connection of the extension modules it is necessary
to use the proper bus extension cables (Code CBL045**00) to be ordered separately, and available in two different lengths according to cabling requirements.

The programming of the device can be made using the tools provided
by Microsoft, among which it's available a free C++ development environment
and debu. See
