NETLITE is
a flexible programmable communication module, equipped with Java TStik or SNAP CPU's
or, alternatively, with the Netlog
CPU. The module is provided of 2 RS232 serial ports, RS485 or CAN field
bus, 1-Wire™interface, 10/100 BaseT Ethernet port, one digital input
and one digital output.
The device is engineered in a ABS selfextinguishing enclosure,
suitable for DIN rail mount according to DIN EN50022 and can be expanded with
the 10I/O and 20I/O extension
modules through its I2C™ bus, up to 7 extension modules can
be connected to it.
Netlite may be supplied with CAN or RS485 field bus, allowing
the connection with remote I/Os or to instruments provided of those interfaces.
The CAN/RS485 and the serial ports RS232 allows the connection
between different devices assuming the function of an efficient "bridge"
between different communication protocols.
The 1-Wire™ interface, of which the device is provided,
allows the interfacing with all the iButton
I/O devices.
Netlite (TStik and SNAP version) is programmable in Java
through the standard development tools available for these applications i.e.
Sun JDK (see JDK
download).
The PPP master or slave connection protocol, allows to use
NETLITE on a telecontrol applications by using normal switched telephone
lines.
The programming of the version equipped with Netlog CPU is
made through the development tool Remoter.
It allows the Ladder Diagram (LD), Instruction List (IL) and/or C Language programming.
For the connection of the extension modules it is necessary
to use the proper bus
extension cables (Code CBL045**00) to be ordered separately, and available
in two different lengths according to cabling requirements.
