NETLOG is a programmable
controller (PLC) engineered in a DIN43880 enclosure, member of Netsyst family
controllers.
The base module provide 12 optoisolated digital input, 8
isolated digital output, 4 analog inputs 0-10V (or RTD) 16bit resolution,
2 analog outputs 0-10V. Each digital input/output is equipped with LED status
indicator.
The Base version is equipped with 2 serial ports and, RS485
versions, are provided of interface galvanically insulated with Fail safe
high input impedance driver that allows up to 128 devices on the same
network.
The device can be expanded with the 10I/O and/or 20I/O extension
modules through its I2C™ bus, up to 7 extension modules can
be connected.
For the connection of the extension modules it is necessary
to use the proper bus extension cables (Code CBL045**00) to be ordered separately, and available in two different lengths according to cabling requirements.

The I/O's connections are made through extractable TB for
an easier maintenance.
The apparatus accept an extended power from 10 to 30Vdc.
The ability to operate with 12Vdc power facilitates the solution of a variety
of applications in domotics, automotive and, generally, whereas a battery
power is required.
Netlog may be supplied with RS485 field bus (Modbus RTU or
ASCII protocol), to connect it with other devices provided of this interface.
The programming is made through the development tool Remoter.
It allows the Ladder Diagram (LD), Instruction List (IL) and/or C Language programming,
allowing the developing of applications difficultly approachable with concurrent
products with similar price.
Netlog is available in "Base" or "Lite"
version. The Lite version is recommended in applications were the cost is
a critical factor, and it doesn't provide integrated user interface and
Real time clock/calendar.
The "Display" version is equipped with a 6Keys
Keypad and alphanumeric LCD display 2 lines * 16 characters.
The device is dimensionally and for most connections compatible
with the previous series of Netlog.
The CPU
module installed in the products has a kernel program preinstalled,
to upgrade it please follow the information reported in the related FAQ.
NetlogII is available in OEM version also, oriented to the
users that need to realize semi custom devices extremely cost sensitive.
Due the support of Modbus Rtu protocol, can be connected operator terminals, SCADA software, ProfiLab-Expert applications.
