STE
is an Ethernet thermometer (hygrometer) with SNMP and WEB interfaces. It alerts
by e-mail (and/or SMS) to temperatures outside of a safe range. Supplied
with a power adapter and one temperature sensor.
The Poe version allows to power the device directly by the ethernet cable (An HUB or switch with this feature must be used). Also the Poe version is supplied with power supply and one temperature sensor.
The Ethernet thermometer is configured using the built-in
web server. If the temperature (humidity) exceeds a specified threshold, an
e-mail alert is sent.
Is supported the measurement in Celsius, Fahrenheit and
Kelvin degrees. Optionally another temperature/humidity
sensor can be connected.
SMS messages are possible by using Email-2-SMS services.
