The Picosyst Millennium CPU is the central unit of all the products of Picosyst family and can be supplied separately as spare part or as a component for systems integrators.

The module is available in three different configurations depending of the number/type of serial ports:

• Base Version 2 serial port RS232C,
• RS485 Version 1 serial port RS232C +1 RS232/RS485 isolated,
• CAN Version 2 serial port RS232C +1 CAN port isolated.

The CPU module is supplied with a BIOS and Operating System pre loaded, to allow the connection with Development system Remoter 8.x or to the tools for programs uploading to the Flash EPROM.

The module is provided with a 26 pins IDC connector to connect with peripherals. The module may be used together with an hardware developed by us or by the user. In such way it's possible to realize programmable controllers personalized to the real own needs, taking the advantages of the use of the standard programming tools and libraries developed for Picosyst family.

As a component of Picosyst Millennium family, also the ME CPU is provided of Low power and Wide operating temperature features, these peculiarities makes the product useful in heavy environments and/or in battery powered systems where the low power consumption is a critical parameter of the application.

The product is available in open frame version upon request and for quantities.

The complete exploitation of the characteristics of the device is possible through the use of Remoter 8.0 or superior only.

In the site is available a lot of tutorial programs ready for use.

The Picosyst MEIII series will go to replace the previous one, that it will remain available for spare parts scope.
It's equipped with new 10MIPS processors, more user program memory and on board EEPROM Mass-memory for data recording.

This series allows also the execution of appliances written with Remoter 7.3 or lower if equipped with the option PCK024**00. The products equipped with this option will not be used anymore as a target Picosyst MEIII and Remoter 8.x applications.

Picosyst MEIII devices need Remoter from vers. 8.3.1 to be programmed. The package allows remote programming and device testing also.
