Picolog ME Relay is a programmable controller member of Picosyst family. The base module has 16 optoisolated digital inputs and 8 Relay output. The state of each I/O is displayed by LED.

All models are equipped with 2 serial ports and, RS485 versions, are provided of interface galvanically insulated with Fail safe high input impedance driver that allows up to 128 devices on the same network.

It is expandable through all the I/O modules of the Picosyst family (up to 7 modules can be connected), it also support the I²C bus used on the Netsyst family.

For the connection of the extension modules it is necessary to use the proper bus extension cables (Code CBL024**00) to be ordered separately, and available in three different lengths according to cabling requirements.

The apparatus accept an extended power from 10 to 30Vdc (or from 9 to 20Vac). The ability to operate with 12 V power facilitates the solution of a variety of applications in domotics, automotive and, generally, whereas a battery power is required.

Each module may acquire a bi phase encoder (rotary or linear) with a max frequency of 50kHz and edge detection algorithm. This feature is optional on codes MPS039A0*0 (Code PCK013*000), and standard supply on codes MPS039B0*0.

The I/O's connections are made through extractable TB for an easier maintenance.

The programming is made through the development tool Remoter. It allows the Ladder Diagram (LD), Instruction List (IL) and/or C Language programming, allowing the developing of applications difficultly approachable with concurrent products with similar price.
The product is available in three versions:

• Base Version 2 serial port RS232C,
• RS485 Version 1 serial port RS232C +1 RS232/RS485 isolated,
• CAN Version 2 serial port RS232C +1 CAN port isolated.

Picosyst MEIII series allows also the execution of appliances written with Remoter 7.3 or lower if equipped with the option PCK024**00. The products equipped with this option will not be used anymore as a target Picosyst ME III and Remoter 8.x applications.

Picosyst MEIII devices need Remoter from vers. 8.3.1 to be programmed. The package allows remote programming and device testing also.

The release B (codes MPS039B0*0) will go to replace the previous one (codes MPS039A0*0), maintaining full compatibility with it.

Picolog ME is available in OEM version also, oriented to the users that need to realize semi custom devices extremely cost sensitive.

Due the support of Modbus Rtu protocol, can be connected operator terminals, SCADA software, ProfiLab-Expert applications.
